Judy Harris was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University and then obtained her Registered Dietitian credential. She received a Masters of Public Health from the University of Utah where she has been living for the past 12 years. Judy has also lived and worked in Japan for over three years working as a civilian employee through the US Air Force military base. Her most current work experience is working at the Utah Department of Health with the WIC Program as the Utah Breastfeeding Coordinator. She obtained her IBCLC in 1997 and has been actively involved in nutrition and breastfeeding issues and projects through the ILCA, National WIC Association, Utah Breastfeeding Coalition, Early Head Start program, and the Central Louisiana Breastfeeding Coalition.
